Friends of Lifeline Gippsland

Lifeline Gippsland is looking for people to get involved with its brand new mental wellbeing community development project – Mind the Valley.

People from all walks of life that are passionate about their community and would like to help others in the Latrobe Valley learn about mental health and wellbeing are those being sought.

This is a unique opportunity for volunteers to come in and work with Lifeline Gippsland staff to design a mental health and wellbeing ‘community conversation’, and then help to have that conversation with the wider community. Participating will mean that your ideas could be out there doing good work and having an impact as early as September and October this year.

There is no specific education or experience required in order to take part as Lifeline Gippsland understands that there is infinite wisdom, strength and resilience among everyday community members. This project aims to couple that knowledge with some best practice mental health information and get it out to people throughout the Latrobe Valley.

For more information about this opportunity please check out the Position Description on the Lifeline Gippsland website by clicking HERE, or call Sam Forbes on 5136 3500.

If you are interested in becoming a Friend of Lifeline Gippsland for the Mind the Valley Project, email your Expression of Interest outlining your strengths and how they would contribute to the project to mailto:sam.forbes@llg.org.au by Friday 13th July.
