A big thank you to the team at Bass Coast Secondary, junior Campus for their amazing, targeted donation drive. This drive provided much needed quality donations to our Wonthaggi lifeline store, supporting our store to raise essential funds for the important suicide prevention and crisis support work we do. Our store supervisor Leah and incredible Volunteer Anne very much enjoyed spending time with the students and teaching them our processes for sorting donations. Thank you! 💙

We’re proud to release additional LivingWorks safeTALK training dates, delivered across each LGA throughout Gippsland and Cardinia.
safeTALK is based on the principle of Suicide Alertness Training for Everyone, empowering participants with the skills to Tell, Ask, Listen and KeepSafe when supporting someone who may be experiencing mental health challenges and or suicidal thoughts.

Thanks to the generous support of the Latrobe Health Services Foundation, we’re extremely fortunate to also offer this training release at a heavily subsidised cost of just $25 per person.
Together, we’re working collaboratively to build a resilient, suicide-safe region.

Today is the start of National Reconciliation Week and the theme for 2026 is All In, a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day.

It reminds us to learn from the past, stand together in the present and to push forward as past lessons guide us.

It’s a time to listen to the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, understand the historical and present-day challenges, and actively work towards meaningful change.

Reconciliation isn’t just about words — it’s about actions that lead to real outcomes. This includes creating spaces where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people feel seen, heard, and respected.

When we make room for cultural safety, connection, and self-determination, we’re helping to strengthen communities. This is an essential part of improving mental health and overall well-being.

💙 A Huge Thank You 💙
We want to extend our sincere appreciation to the incredible Loy Yang B Finance Team for their support as part of their corporate volunteering commitment.
Over the past six months, we’ve been overwhelmed (in the best possible way!) by the generosity of our community through donations. However, this has also created a significant backlog in our warehouse, placing a heavy load on our amazing, but understandably exhausted volunteers.
With the help of the Loy Yang B team, we’ve been able to make real headway through a large backlog of clothing and donated items, giving our volunteers some much-needed relief and getting our rag production back on track. Their support has also helped us maintain a safe warehouse and continue supplying our shops, ensuring we can keep raising essential funds for 13 11 14 and Lifeline Gippsland’s suicide prevention work.
We are so grateful for their time, energy and willingness to step in and make a meaningful difference. 💪✨
