A MOST GENEROUS DONATION FROM TRARALGON LIONS

A Generous Donation from Traralgon Lions Club

On Wednesday 25th May Lifeline Gippsland received a donation of $5,000 from Traralgon Lions, which was generated through their Charity Golf Day earlier this year. We were joint recipients along with Latrobe Palliative Care Fundraising Group. Many thanks to the Lions members for their hard work in raising this amount to help us train more volunteers and answer the increasing number of calls on the 13 11 14 from people in crisis.

We repurpose retired donations such as old towels, flannelettes, t-shirts and more, into rags used by businesses across Gippsland. Each bag of reags sold supports our 13 11 14 Crisis Support Line.
Every donation helps! We gladly accept all clothing, but towels and flannelette are at the top of our wish list for rags.

Celebrate World Op Shop Day with us at Traralgon Centre Plaza!

Bring along your pre-loved clothes and take part in a feel-good event that supports your local community. Everyone who donates will go into the draw to win a beautiful gift hamper!

This special event is happening on Saturday 18th October, right in the Food Court area of Traralgon Centre Plaza, where you can donate between 10am and 2pm.

Proudly organised by Traralgon Centre Plaza in support of Lifeline Gippsland, this day is all about giving back and making sure no one has to face their darkest moment alone.

With just 9% of the funding needed to run our 13 11 14 crisis line coming from government sources, Lifeline Gippsland relies heavily on the support of our community and the income from our five Op Shops across the region.

We're so thankful to Traralgon Centre Plaza for putting this event together and standing beside us in supporting mental health and crisis services across Gippsland.
