Lifeline Gippsland is a not for profit community organisation based in Gippsland and dedicated to the prevention of suicide through support to a national 13 11 14 telephone crisis service and local programs.

Lifeline Gippsland is seeking new Board members.

If you have skills, experience or knowledge that you believe may benefit the Board of Lifeline Gippsland and the operation of the organisation please contact Lifeline Gippsland.

Candidates should be residents of Gippsland with an interest in the work of Lifeline Gippsland. Priority consideration will be given to applicants with backgrounds in communications & marketing, information technology, business, governance, law and mental health.

Board members are responsible for supporting the management of the organisation, ensuring sustainable operation and setting the strategic direction of Lifeline Gippsland. Candidates should be effective communicators with a capacity for problem solving and strategic decision making in support of Lifeline Gippsland goals.

Board members are expected to attend monthly meetings, Annual General Meetings and occasional community events. Board members also regularly engage with Lifeline Gippsland volunteers and contribute to Board working parties. Teleconference attendance at Board meetings is an option.
