safeTALK at Traralgon College

Traralgon College is very committed to their student’s wellbeing, so they invited our Corporate Trainer over to run another safeTALK session at their senior campus.

safeTALK is all about becoming ‘suicide alert’; to be able to recognise when a person might be having thoughts of suicide and to know how to connect that person to someone who can help by carrying out a suicide intervention to keep that person safe.

safeTALK isn’t a part of the Traralgon College curriculum, students were invited to attend, so it was fantastic to see such a good group of students interested and wanting to learn what to look out for, how to help and what to do and maybe one day, make a massive difference to someone’s life.

How cool is that!
